Names We Call Ourselves is a survivor-centered initiative focused on the Troubled Teen Industry, with particular attention to Internet addiction and behavior-correction institutions in China.
We create a space for survivors to document what happened to them and bring experiences hidden behind institutional walls into public view. Through research and public education, we work to expose harmful practices while connecting those affected with legal support. Our goal is to challenge systems that allow institutional abuse to continue and strengthen protections for young people.

它利用家庭矛盾牟利,游走于监管与法律的空白地带,限制未成年人的自由、剥夺他们最基本的权利——并把这一切包装成「为你好」。
